Mail+ for ActiveSync App Reviews

Still needs work.

Wasted $$$ upon purchase noticed you can not set the notification sounds. Calendar problems, also can not display group email contacts. Original mail app exceeds this, wasted my money. Supports response to just repeat your problem back to you. No fix.

5 Star on iPad Air

Purchased this app when I had an iPad gen 1, and thought I had wasted my money. Performance was poor, connections to my companys exchange servers through OWA was dodgy and crashes were frequent. Needless to say this is a unless app on an iPad 1. Have an iPad Air now and this app rocks! All of the issues I had on the gen 1 are history. Performance is snappy, on par with the iPad mail app - only now I have calendars, email and tasks all in one place. If you have an iPad Air and can access your exchange account through OWA - 5 star app, otherwise cant recommend.

Does not sync subfolders - is NOT active sync

solid thumbs down...

Excellent

Works beautifully and keeps my corporate email, contacts and calendars separate from my personal ones.

Problem After a Problem

While the concept of this app is good, it does not work. I have experienced problem after problem from the app crashing, being slow, freezing, print function disappearing........ Despite my many attempts to address these issues the problems have not been addressed. I originally purchased the Mail+ Outlook version and mistakenly thought that paying $19.99 for the Mail+ ActiveSync would better. It was actually worse. I am now going to take the advice of the Developer and request a refund from apple. Very disappointed.

For OWA only

Didnt realize that this app requires OWA access, just like their Mail+ for Oulook. Does not support a direct connection to the Exchange server address (not a URL). One star because they could be clearer in the description of the app.

Works

Finally updated for my iPhone 6+ with Touch ID support which helps a lot. There seems to be a bug with Touch ID integration where it shows an auth error sometimes and I have to click button to open Touch ID but overall works well. Also I wish they would make better use of all the screen real estate.

Latest Update Broke Things

I loved this app until the latest update. Cant reply to messages now. Cant see the message in right hand pane. Can only open mini window of message. Try to reply and app crashes. Please fix it promptly.

Almost perfect

Easy setup, pleasing UI. I wish that the app can do the same voodoo the Blackberry does with its email client where emails sent from a BB is indistinguishable from ones sent from Outlook on the desktop. Currently the From: and To: fields in emails sent from Mail+ still looks different.

Doesnt work

Doesnt work and Ive emailed 3 times for help in 3 weeks; no response

DO NOT BUY IT!

DO NOT BUY IT! BE AWARE! THIS APP WOULD WORK PERFECTLY IN THE BEGINNING BUT THEN IT WILL STOP WORKING! HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT BUT NO RESPONSE!!

Frustrated...

The app was working fine, at first... I recently updated it and it crashes immediately upon opening the app... For an app that costs $9.99, that is very frustrating.

Problems....

1) Every time I open the app it starts to synch from the beginning. i.e. the one month time that I have it in settings. 2) I tried to put no limit synchronization and it synchronized only two days.3) I receive mails with numbering which are not displayed. I have emailed several times for help but without any solution on my problems!!! FRUSTRATED!
